We are a team of professionals lead by our Medical Director, joined by a newly APRN, a skilled trainer and former therapist, with unparalleled expertise in robotic therapy, experienced Lab Technician and Radiology Technician, Hyperbaric Safety Director, our Clinic Director, and Chief Administrator. We are innovation. Our practice began initially to serve the needs of neurologic compromised individuals, harnessing technology. We now strive to use that model of innovation and technology to retain neurologic patients and move into a comprehensive series of rehabilitation and performance. We believe in improvement. We believe in science. We believe that you can look better, feel better, perform better, and overall be better. Peripheral Nerve Stimulation (PNS)
While HBOT and rTMS focus on neurorecovery, peripheral nerve stimulation targets the peripheral nerves, the diseases of which are many. PNS strives to energize motor nerves that have lost function due to disease or injury with precision guided treatment. Oftentimes, this distinct branch of nerve injury and loss of function can be assisted.  This is similar, yet distinct to stimulation of the brain as detailed in rTMS. Accompanied by this type of peripheral nerve problem would be associated balance, muscular weakness and gait dysfunction.
Metabolic Nutrition Therapy
Metabolic wellness is the most fundamental drivers of health and sickness within the body.  Optimizing metabolic function and one’s metabolism with the use of specific techniques such as nutrition management and supplementation (vitamins, minerals, amino acids, fatty acids, herbs etc.) can strongly impact and improve immunity and cellular well-being, as well as promote weight loss.  Dr. Wood’s graduate schooling prior to medical school, focused on the various types of fatty acids and it is his firm conviction that the fatty acid composition we consume is of paramount importance in health and sickness.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
For many years, it has been well documented that oxygen has a direct therapeutic healing capability, when combined with high percent oxygen that is pressurized. This generates enormous increase in the amount of oxygen in the body, and drives healing of various tissue types in a myriad of ways. HBOT is powerfully anti-inflammatory, which current data supports as a significant driver of disease.    By multiple methods, it promotes tissue healing for orthopedic injuries, skin lesions, and significant neurologic injuries previously thought to be unchangeable. It is also effective at promoting the health and healing of the brain, movement, cognition, mood, equilibrium, and in certain cases systemic disease.
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS)
Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation involves the generation of powerful magnetic fields that are effective at penetrating into the brain tissues harmlessly and painlessly.  This has been demonstrated for many years to be highly effective for depression, OCD, PTSD, anxiety, and evidence continues to prove that it is helpful for many other brain-based diseases.  In skilled hands, this technique is lifechanging. This is one of our areas of expertise.  Perhaps this is the treatment you have been looking for.
Infusacare / Neuroceuticals - COMING SOON!

IV infusion is one of the most powerful techniques of medication and nutrient delivery.  The utilization infusions can have drastic benefits and overall improved health. Examples of more specific applications of IV infusion therapy would include vital hydration, cognitive support, joint pain relief, sports enhancement, muscle support, bone density, individualized antioxidant support, inflammation reduction, cellular bioenergetics, and weight loss.  These infusions are administered by trained medical professionals, and specific infusion modifications to be discussed during consultation.
Laboratory
NeuroKinetix Laboratory is an independent lab that offers in-house processing of most laboratory exams.  NeuroKinetix lab partners with CPL as our reference lab for additional and unique specialty testing.  We provide ease of ordering by our in-house physician, yet welcome orders by referred physicians. This allows us to offer a smoother and easier laboratory experience while providing access to a quality healthcare experience that will yield reliable and same-day laboratory results.  Although appointments are appreciated, walk-ins are welcome. We appreciate the opportunity to service the laboratory needs of the metroplex and strive for a positive patient experience under all circumstances.
Movement Science
Movement science represents an evolution from traditional physical therapy into a more cohesive plan of scientific application of exercise recovery and performance. Our new direction will be to perform diagnostic and therapeutic maneuvers that pertain to movement. These would include a dedicated balance center, gait analysis lab, segmental body rehabilitation or strengthening, bone density training, athletic/skilled movement, force production, and injury rehabilitation. This will retain our significant presence in neurologic rehabilitation and beyond.

Dr. Brian C. Wood

Medical Director & Lead Physician

Dr. Wood has 10 years of experience as a medical director, lead physician and attending physician. After graduating from SUNY Upstate Medical University with his MD, he completed postgraduate training in internal medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation. Because of his ample amount of experience, Dr. Wood specializes in traumatic brain injuries (TBI), Acquired Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury and non-surgical orthopedics/sports medicine. Dr. Wood is fascinated by the interface of neurological injury, human performance and the use of bio-stimulation therapy and neuromodulation as the future of the field.
